Thank you for showing an interest and stopping by my page. I am thrilled to share the news that I will be moving to Accra, Ghana, to begin a placement with WiLDAF, Ghana. During this placement, I will have the privilege of working with their Access to Justice Program, which contributes to preventing all forms of violence against women and girls. WiLDAF works to acheive gender equality, and improve access to legal resources and participation by women at all levels of society, and I am thrilled to be able to contribute to this work. To learn more about WiLDAF Ghana, including the Access to Justice Program, please check out their website https://wildaf-ghana.org/ .
Anyone who knows me will know by now that I am passionate about gender equality and increasing coordination between, and access to, institutions that can help realize this goal. Due to my previous experience with this area, I have been chosen by Crossroads to volunteer my time and knowledge to the program.
Before I depart for this undertaking, I believe it is important for me to help support the empowering work of Crossroads through fundraising. Crossroads is a Canadian organization has been partnering with organizations in eight countries since 1958 to realize its goals of ending poverty and achiving empowerment of girls and women. By donating, you are directly supporting Crossroads programs, including the Access to Justice Program which I will be working within. To learn more about Crossroads, please visit their website https://cintl.org/ .
I am looking forward to this experience and can't wait to share photo's and stories with you, both during my placement and upon my return. Please feel free to contact me for more information about my placement, or to learn more about the work of Crossroads and WiLDAF.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey, and on behalf of all the people you are supporting through your gift, thank you.
