I am incredibly proud that this is my SIXTH Crossroads mandate in the last 15 years. Each mandate allows me to volunteer my skills with local partner organizations, building their capacity to deliver vital services and create real, tangible impact on the ground.

In Senegal, I worked with L’ASBEF, a partner focused on Women's Rights. We boosted their digital presence by creating a new website (https://www.asbef.org) and developing a strategic communication plan to increase their visibility and engagement with patients and the public. Crucially, I provided training in AI tools, marketing, and communication, directly enhancing staff skills for more efficient workflows, better data management, and optimized communication. This strengthens their ability to provide essential maternal and reproductive health services, especially after facing past funding challenges.

In Tanzania, my mandate with Tusonge Community Development Organization focused on Women’s leadership and Economic empowerment for marginalized women and girls. We delivered seven training sessions to 14 staff and interns (+4 interns) on vital skills like Excel, Data Management, Google Workspace, and AI. Approximately 80% of participants reported increased confidence in data analysis after the Excel training. We also created valuable assets like a Fundraising Dashboard and Partner Database Template. Tusonge staff described the sessions as the "most impactful and eye opening mandate" they've had. This work directly enhanced staff capacity for data-driven decision making, streamlined operations, and increased overall efficiency and productivity, empowering Tusonge to better serve their beneficiaries, including those impacted by Gender Based Violence.

Previously in eSwatini, I supported Bantwana, an organization working to help prevent HIV and empower young girls and women. By bringing in specialized IT expertise and supporting their marketing strategy, I helped strengthen their ability to address critical health and socio-economic challenges facing vulnerable young women and girls in a country with high rates of poverty and HIV. This project continues now, with the support of pro-bono work from TrailConsult.
