Hello & Bonjour My Friends/Mes Amis,

I recently embarked on an incredible adventure as a Crossroader, volunteering my skills, knowledge, and services overseas to empower women and girls in sub-Saharan Africa. I'm deeply passionate about Crossroads' mission to build ONE WORLD where poverty is eliminated, equality prevails, and the rights of women and girls are fulfilled.

My first mission was a two-week mandate that took me to Dakar, Senegal. There, alongside the wonderful and inspiring Tara Scanlan, we successfully created a website, built a communication plan, and developed a comprehensive digital strategy for a Planned Parenthood clinic called ASBEF. We achieved our goals, met incredible people, saw tangible results, and even had fun along the way!

This experience was truly life-changing. I feel so fortunate that our efforts could support such meaningful work. The generosity of global-minded donors made Crossroads' vital work and my placement a reality. I'm incredibly grateful for the support I received on this journey, which directly benefited the women and girls I had the privilege of working with.
