Welcome to My Personal Journey!
Dear friends,
Thank you so much for being open to receive the info. I am excited to share that I have the incredible opportunity to participate in a charity fundraising trip to Senegal in February 2025.
Our team will be joining an incredible organization Crossroads International, to build partnerships and meet their local partner organizations with a commitment to ending poverty through empowering woman and girls.
This trip means a lot to me because I lived much of my childhood and life as a single Mom in poverty and have personal experience with the negative impact this has on both women and children.
I left my husband at 20 years old with 2 children under 5 and $60 in my pocket.
I know the shame and burden of poverty.
I know what it's like to not know where next month's rent is going to come from, or how you are going to keep it all together.
I know the incredible sense of loneliness that comes from trying to shoulder the burdens all on your own, because you simply didn't know any differently.
This is why when my dear friend and extraordinary leader in the global conversation to end poverty Heather Shapter reached out to request, I partner with her in the Senegal Charity Challenge, I was a heck YES!
To make this mission possible, I am reaching out to my various communities for support. I am out to raise $10,000 raise funds for Crossroads to support their work in providing resources to local organizations to provide skills, training and support, as well as working with local governments to enhance and protect the rights of women and girls.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.
If you can help, please donate now or contact me directly if you have any questions.
Your support will help me achieve my goal of bringing positive change to the lives of many.

With gratitude,
Amber
